Andy Davis

Owner - Trident Manor Limited - Diplomatic Security, Cultural Protection and Risk Management 

As well as being the managing director of Trident Manor Limited Andy retains a proactive interest in developing programmes and ensuring learning opportunities for the many.

As an expert in the protection of cultural properties Andy has driven the cultural protection programmes offered by Trident Manor to ensure that practitioners have the ability to learn and better manage the risks that exist. To date over 600 people engaged in cultural property protection activities have benefited from his programmes.

Sean McKeown

IQM & Lead Assessor

Sean is  a highly experienced security and intelligence trainer with a wealth of experience in supporting and delivering learning and developmental programmes globally.

As the IQM and Lead Assessor Sean ensures that programmes and services offered to delegates are of the highest quality and that professional standards are maintained.

Sean also continues to deliver and supporting the delivery of specialist training including Close Protection programmes,  Intelligence training, and Maritime Security.

Mat East

Middle East - Lead Instructor

Mat has used his extensive military training and development experiences into the commercial world. As the Director of the Al Shaheen programme in the UAE he oversaw and developed a comprehensive programme that supported governmental objectives through the delivery of training programmes. 

Mat will support the Academy's corporate developmental activities that ensure risks are identified and teams establish resilience to manage the threats that exist. He will also support our humanitarian/stabilisation training programmes and lead on delivery of our wide range of services in the Middle East.

Paul Blench

Humanitarian and Trauma Medical Lead

Paul has spent many years working overseas in difficult and hostile environments for governmental and humanitarian organisation which included him developing and delivering and delivered learning programme across East Africa. The emphasis of Paul's training is to adopt a proportionate but proactive approach to risk avoidance, which mirrors that of Trident Manor.

He is a qualified first aid instructor including up to Trauma medical management and regularly delivers training and evaluations on front line medical practitioners. 

Trevor Benson

Personal Safety and Public Order

Following 30 years police service where Trevor was the primary instructor for public order training within his force and co-author of the ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers) Public Order Training Manual.

Trevor has continued to deliver personal security and public order training to organisations around the world and develop innovative strategies to help keep people safe and secure.   

David Vickers

Chief Driving Instructor

David is recognised as one of the worlds foremost driving instructors and accredited assessors for RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents). Over the past 15 years David has instructed governmental, corporate, and emergency services personnel in defensive driving techniques and protective driving tactics. This has included operating in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Trident Manor is proud that David provides instruction on training programmes created by Trident Manor but also approved by RoSPA for delivery elsewhere in the world. Using David's skills and the wider experiences of the Trident Manor team defensive driving programmes can be delivered anywhere in the world; using any vehicle types and in any terrain.

Colin Bell

Chief Close Protection & Firearms Instructor

Colin has decades of delivering firearms and close protection training for governmental organisations and bodies around the world. Having worked with diplomats, aid organisations, corporate bodies and HNWI (High Net Worth Individuals) he brings with him a depth of knowledge and experience that is difficult to match.

Whether in the classroom or in the field Colin ensures that the quality of training continues to be first class.

Paul Smith

Event Security Lead

Paul joins the training team as the lead for delivering our Event Security programmes. He brings a wealth of experience in delivering training programmes specific to sporting venues and stadiums as well as general security functions. Paul and others will continue to grow and develop our national and international training programmes in support of major sporting events around the world.
