Continued Support for Museum Design
Wednesday, 18th June 2025

Over the past several months, Trident Manor has been contracted to assist in the design and redevelopment of a council-run museum in the UK. This involves engagement whenever necessary with the client, project managers, architects, and several other stakeholders to provide advice on elements of a cultural venue’s physical and technical security measures.
We strongly believe that effective security should be built in from the design stage rather than retroactively to reduce costs and save time in the future. It's a crucial area for venues to invest in, which is often overlooked. But well-considered security designs can increase flexibility to change spaces and exhibition designs in the future.
Junior Security Consultant, Hannah Miller, says “What’s great about working on projects in their early design stages is the collaboration with the client and other providers to ensure that all aspects of the redevelopment will work cohesively. It can be challenging to find a balance between security, convenience for all stakeholders, and cost-effectiveness, but there are always solutions worth exploring.”
