Level 3 Award in Counter-Terrorism Protective Security August Delivery
Monday, 10th August 2026
Day one of our August cohort's Level 3 Award in Counter-Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness underway.
Today marked the start of our August delivery of the SFJ Awards Level 3 Award in Counter-Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness, bringing together learners from a diverse range of professional backgrounds united by a common goal: improving safety, security. and resilience within their organisations.
We are happy to have Jonathan Morgan lead this month's cohort, who has completed this course ad has extensive first-hand experience in the field brining real-world context to every discussion. The cohort has immediately engaged in through-provoking conversations around some of the most important issues facing protective security today.
The varied backgrounds of the learners generated insightful debate when discussing the topics covered in this first unit. From defining terrorism, to understanding which Venues, Sites, and Organisations fall under the scope of the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, delegates have began to appreciate the nature of the threat environment and why their organisations must remain vigilant and prepared.
As the programme continues, participants will delve deeper into threat recognition, protective security measures, preparedness planning, and the practical application of counter-terrorism principles within their own environments. We're excited to see the cohort develop over the coming weeks and look forward to supporting them as they enhance their knowledge, confidence, and ability to contribute to safer and more resilient communities.
If you would like to undertake this training, we have a course available in Manchester on 14th-18th September and one in Darlington on 16th-20th November. Find out more information on our training calendar: www.tridentmanor.com/trident-manor-training-academy/training-calendar/
