CPD accredited PSSW programme delivered in Monterrey by Hannah Miller

Last week members of the Trident Manor team were in Mexico delivering the CPD accredited PSSW (Personal Safety and Security Workshop) for staff of a global insurer’s security team. This session, led by Hannah Miller, concluded another impactful trip, during which more than 100 staff members received training designed to strengthen the awareness of front-line staff who are faced with multiple threats of violence from individuals and organised crime groups. This is following the delivery of previous PSSW programmes for the same client over the past 2 years where over 250 members of staff have been trained.

The effectiveness of this programme is not theoretical. In 2024, a participant described how the training had potentially saved their life by helping them take proactive defensive actions, thereby avoiding a potential deadly situation. Testimonies like this underscore the tangible value of investing in awareness-based protective training.

This programme has been delivered to probation service personnel, those involved in drug testing, and others from the criminal justice system. However, its relevance extends far beyond these groups and includes retailers, transportation providers, hospitality staff, and any organisation with public-facing activities worldwide can benefit from the skills and mindset this training instils.

As we wrap up another successful trip to Mexico, we are proud to see the growing impact of the PSSW programme. Each workshop delivered is another step toward safer workplaces, empowered staff, and ultimately, the protection of lives.
