In August 2026, members of the Trident Manor team travelled to Guadalajara, Mexico, to deliver the CPD-accredited Personal Safety and Security Workshop (PSSW) for staff within a global insurer’s security team.

The training was led by Hannah Miller, supported by the expertise of an associate Trident Manor trainer, and brought together 60 attendees from across the client organisation. The programme was designed to enhance awareness of the personal safety and security risks faced by front-line personnel who may encounter aggressive behaviour, violence, or threats posed by organised criminal groups as part of their day-to-day roles.

This latest delivery builds upon a long-standing partnership with the client, following the successful delivery of previous PSSW programmes over recent years. Through these sessions, hundreds of employees have benefited from practical, awareness-based training designed to help individuals recognise risks, make informed decisions, and adopt proactive measures to improve their personal security.

While the programme has been delivered extensively to security teams, its applications extend much further. Retail organisations, the cultural sector, transportation providers, hospitality businesses, healthcare providers, and any organisation with public-facing employees can benefit from the skills, knowledge, and mindset that the PSSW programme develops.

At the end of this successful visit to Mexico, we are pleased to see the continued impact of the PSSW programme and the commitment of organisations to investing in the safety of their staff. Every workshop delivered is another step towards helping individuals better understand and manage the risks they may face.
