Briefing of Senior Leadership Team and Meeting with Architects

Continued Support for International Clients

On 28 September 2026, Andy Davis, our Managing Director, travelled to Dublin to brief the senior leadership team on the findings of a multi-site security review conducted earlier in the year. The meeting allowed the team to review the findings and raise questions or comments to clarify or challenge certain recommendations. Andy said after the meeting, "It is sometimes difficult to present what at times can be seen as critical findings. Equally, it is important that consultants are prepared to listen, as there are normally competing priorities and operational activities that have to be considered."

Following the senior leadership meeting, it was beneficial to meet with external stakeholders who also had an interest in protecting the client's assets, but from a national perspective.

While in Dublin, I also took the opportunity to meet with the architects involved in the redevelopment of the Natural History Museum, a long-standing project Trident Manor has been involved in since RIBA Stage 2. It was a great opportunity to review the plans and changes made, and to see their impact on the previously agreed protective security design approach. Andy further stated, "This open and collaborative engagement reduces the likelihood of incorrect design approaches being adopted and vulnerabilities being introduced."

And time was taken to sample the traditional Irish hospitality...a pint of Guinness.

Wherever you are in the world, Trident Manor has the expertise to support the protection of cultural venues globally from design through to operational activities.
