Our Junior Security Consultant, Hannah, delivered our CPD-certified PSSW programmes as part of our ongoing social outreach to a Manchester-based client.

Since Autumn 2024, we have been supporting a Manchester-based client with training and development for their members of staff in catering, front-of-house, supervisor, and managerial roles.

The venue houses a theatre, gallery, food halls, and a cinema where they welcome members of the public every day. Therefore, members of staff need to understand the potential threats that could present themselves and how to be proactive in keeping their colleagues and visitors safe.

Our Personal Safety and Security Workshop (PSSW) is the perfect introductory programme to identify threats in our personal lives and the workplace offering solutions to prevent conflict situations from escalating. It outlines situational awareness and surveillance detection as necessary skills to enhance sensory awareness when analysing surroundings.

It was great to have delegates from a range of roles and levels of experience discussing their own personal experiences, concerns, and methods of being proactive.
