Level 4 Certificate for Protective Security Advisers

Book Here!

The Level 4 Certificate for Protective Security Advisers is offered by SFJ Awards, followed by a collaboration with the Protective Security Centre (Home Office). It is also endorsed by all three of the government’s National Technical Authorities: the National Protective Security Authority (NPSA), the UK National Authority for Counter-Eavesdropping (NACE), and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). Trident Manor Training Academy is the first training provider to be explicitly accredited to deliver this programme.

This qualification is suitable for anybody seeking the skills and knowledge needed to carry out the role of a protective security adviser, or to enhance their professional competencies in understanding how protective security disciplines dovetail to provide effective ‘security convergence’.

Content

This programme will be delivered over 3 months and consists of three 4-day sessions at the Darlington training facility, with four weeks of remote learning and self-study in between.

Delegates will study the following 14 modules:

This provides delegates the opportunity to gain knowledge from security experts who have delivered specialist protective security training programmes globally for governmental and corporate entities. This also allows flexible self-study learning to take place alongside online formal sessions. The programme is awarded on a pass or fail basis. To pass, delegates will be expected to commit to the programme and devote appropriate time and effort to completing work and assessments. In return, the Trident Manor team will dedicate time, effort, and energy to ensuring a meaningful and rewarding training programme is delivered.

If required, training can also be given at the Client’s location, whether in the United Kingdom or internationally.

Delegate numbers will initially be capped at 12 per course to ensure quality of service and engagement is maintained. The programme is open to all, but places will not be confirmed until payment is received in full.

Other Ways to Book

It is understood that there will be interest from organisations that can only make payment via the issuance of an invoice. This is not a problem, and an invoice can be raised provided the following information is supplied:

Group tuition is possible, especially when working with governmental departments handling sensitive information or operations. For further details, don't hesitate to get in touch with Catharine McLaren at catharine.mclaren@tridentmanor.com.
